Replacing legacy systems with a scalable operating platform spanning the entire business

Impact

A three-platform enterprise technology stack implemented across the business and launched on 1 September 2026

Elite Pro Sports warehouse supporting its manufacturing, wholesale, ecommerce and retail operations

TSCG led an enterprise-wide technology procurement and delivery programme for Elite Pro Sports, translating the requirements of a growing international sports apparel business into 267 technical and functional requirements.

The programme extended across finance, manufacturing, wholesale, purchasing, warehousing, logistics, ecommerce and physical retail. TSCG supported the process from initial scoping and supplier engagement through evaluation, commercial negotiation, development, training, user acceptance testing and implementation.

The resulting three-platform technology stack went live on 1 September 2026, providing Elite Pro Sports with the operational foundation required to continue scaling the business.

The challenge

Legacy systems could no longer support the whole business

Elite Pro Sports had developed into a complex international operation spanning product development, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, club supply, warehousing, ecommerce and physical retail.

Its existing ERP platform continued to support the immediate operation, but it was not considered capable of scaling alongside the company’s growth plans or accommodating the breadth of new integrations the business required.

Several important processes remained manual or disconnected. Warehouse teams had no handheld technology supporting goods-in, picking, stock movements or stocktakes. Finance, inventory, manufacturing, wholesale, ecommerce and retail information needed to move more effectively across the business, supported by stronger reporting and management visibility.

The company was also preparing to replace its retail hardware and EPOS estate, introduce six mobile POS devices, transition its ecommerce operation from WooCommerce to a new Shopify platform and support further expansion across the UK and international markets.

This was not simply a requirement for a new finance or retail system. Elite Pro Sports needed a connected enterprise platform capable of supporting the complete movement of products, orders, inventory and financial information across every part of its operation.

The selected solution needed to accommodate head-office users, manufacturing workflows, wholesale customers, warehouse and logistics teams, ecommerce operations, six retail locations, 13 fixed POS terminals and mobile event retailing.

The solution

Designing and delivering a business-wide technology platform

TSCG worked closely with Elite Pro Sports Operations Director Declan Dunn and stakeholders from across the company to define the complete operational, technical and functional scope.

A structured requirements framework was developed covering core infrastructure, finance, sales and wholesale, purchasing, manufacturing, ecommerce, warehousing and logistics, and EPOS. Each requirement was classified as essential, desirable or beneficial, creating a consistent basis against which every potential solution could be assessed.

An initial request for information was circulated across 14 supplier organisations representing a range of enterprise and retail technology architectures. Eight substantive responses were evaluated against business-wide functionality, technical suitability, implementation capability, relevant sector experience, ongoing support and overall commercial commitment.

A shortlist of suppliers was invited to demonstrate their proposed platforms to the wider Elite Pro Sports senior leadership team. TSCG supported the evaluation of those presentations, the detailed scoring of supplier responses and the progressive narrowing of the available options.

A preferred three-platform architecture was ultimately selected, combining an enterprise ERP platform, cloud-based retail POS technology and a new Shopify ecommerce operation.

TSCG supported the commercial negotiations required to establish an agreed project scope, budget and delivery timeline. Following appointment, TSCG remained part of the project leadership structure, maintaining weekly communication between Elite Pro Sports and the appointed development and implementation teams.

This included continued development scoping, coordinating training requirements, supporting user acceptance testing and helping manage the phased implementation rollout.

The new enterprise technology stack went live on 1 September 2026, giving Elite Pro Sports a scalable operating foundation connecting its core business functions.
